TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: If any of these requirements cannot be met, we can generally find a work around, however

advance notice is imperative to the success of the show.

Backline:

- 5 piece Drum Set with Cymbols

- Bass Amplifier

Stage Requirements:

Theaters:

- Wooden stage floors (or with Rosco, Marley, New Step, Harlequin, etc. dance floor covering.) No splinters, nails, screws,

divots, gaps, outlets, wires, cables, poles, support mechanisms, or obstacles on the floor. All seams must be taped down

by presenter with floor tape (not duct tape) before technical rehearsal. The floor must be flat and free of pockets with no

bumps, crevices or other obvious impediments. (Please note that the floor panels must be unrolled and allowed to rest at

least 4.5 hrs. prior to being taped down. Both on and off-stage areas must be swept and mopped prior to the technical

rehearsal. If necessary, it must be swept and mopped again prior to the performance.

- Minimum dimensions of 24' deep by 32' wide

- Fully equipped lighting rigs and inventory including side, overhead, back and front-of-house positions

Outdoor Stages:

- Platform stage (no cement, no asphalt) with Marley dance floor covering

- Temperature on stage must be between 72 degrees Fahrenheit and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, and stage area/performers

must not be exposed to direct sunlight

- Same minimum dimensions as above

- Side and front lighting positions as appropriate for time of day

- Appropriate changing tent or facilities

Museums, Galleries, Halls, Gymnasiums:

- Minimum dimensions as above

- Changing facilities

- Lighting as needed to be determined by An Dóchas’ technical director and presenter.

Sound Requirements:

- 16 Channel Mixing Board

- Speakers Appropriate for Venue

- 5 Monitors

- Speaker Mains and Monitor Amps Appropriate for Venue

- 4 Vocal Mics on boom stands –up stage center

- 4 DI Lines

- Drum mics appropriate for venue, at least one kick and two overhead condensers

- 3 condensers or 3 boundry mics across front of stage for hard shoes

Other:

- Map and exact directions.

- Parking very close to performance space

- Help unloading and loading equipment

- Clean, well-lit changing room near performance space

- Access to the space and sound check time 3 hours prior to showtime.
